President & CEO
Dr. John Burba is a physical chemist and a world-renowned pioneer in lithium and other mineral extraction technologies. Dr. Burba's 42-year career includes lengthy at Dow Chemical Co., FMC Corp., and Great Lakes Chemical Corp. (now Chemtura Corp.), where he worked on a number of lithium brine projects in North and South America. Most recently, Dr. Burba served as CEO of Simbol materials, a company focused on the recovery of lithium from geothermal brines in Southern California. Under his leadership, Simbol successfully developed a proprietary process capable of producing low-cost, high-purity lithium products from brines that were previously believed to be too high in contaminants to be economically processed. Dr. Burba also recently served as CTO and Executive VP of Molycorp Inc., where he was instrumental in identifying and developing numerous rare earths technologies as part fo the Project Phoenix redevelopment of the Mountain Pass facilities.
Mr. Logan B. Anderson has over 40 years of capital markets experience in a wide variety of industries and has been instrumental in financing and restructuring many public companies. He is a graduate of Otago University in New Zealand with a Commerce Bachelor’s Degree in both Accounting and Economics. He holds the designation of ACA with the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He initially joined the Company in 2017 as a director. In 2018, he became the CFO, where he guided the Company’s transition into specializing in lithium extraction technology. Since 1993, he has served as President and Director of Amteck Financial Services, a private consulting Company, that provides services to public Companies. Throughout this time, he has acted as a director and held various executive positions in numerous Public Companies in a vast array of industries.
Extensive experience in investment and public markets. Instrumental in bringing multiple Initial Public Offerings to market. Raised both equity and debt financings for numerous public companies via primary and secondary financings; served on the board of public companies and in various roles from President to Director.
Director of International Battery Metals Ltd. since May 2019. CEO of High Plains Computing since June 2017. Director of Infinite Harvest Inc. since February 2016. Principal and Owner of Tacking Innovations since June 2014; Previously held positions at Microsoft January 2001 to January 2017.
Colletti will bring to the Board a variety of experience and skill in the areas of: * Crisis management * Dispute resolution * Corporate Strategic planning * Public Relations and Governmental affairs Colletti is the Chief Operating Officer of 3867 Partners, LLC, a private investment firm specialized in the acquisition and turnaround of mid-sized US companies. He also leads Colletti & Associates, a national governmental relations consulting firm.With 30 years’ experience designing and implementing public affairs strategies, corporate leadership, and crisis management, Colletti is considered one of the premier government relations experts and business consultants in the US.Tony was a member of the Board of Directors of Advance America, Cash Advance Centers, Inc. (NYSE: AEA) until its sale in 2011 and also served as a Member’s representative to the Board of Managers of Sun Times Media Holdings, LLC (parent of the Chicago Sun Times newspaper) until its sale in 2011. Colletti earned a B.S., summa cum laude, from Bradley University and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School. He is a member of the Illinois and Florida Bar Associations.
